Im going to make a patch to fix all vehicle problems such as tiger armor etc. please post ideas in this thread.

Some ideas have been so far, Tiger with improved armor, daimler with vickers and 2 pdr, firefly with only one cox 30 cal. Please add more.

How about BAR reliability?

Others will have to weigh in on this, but I\'ve always questioned the frequency of the BAR malfunction rate. Just seems to me that the \"gun broken\" is too common. I\'ve thought the \"gun jammed\" might be at a realistic level, but the gun broken seems out of line.


I am curious to hear opinions on this...or to learn why such a battle-tested weapon broke at such a higher rate than the other automatic weapons in the game.

Hey seven, with this new patch will you be able to add any new weapons?

well if you can i think we should add another MG team to the germans, the MG 34, with a 75 round clip, it is nasty but not as nasty as the 42. I think this would be a perfect balance for the vickers and 30 cal. give it about 600 rounds in total and it would be equavalent to the Bren with a team of 4? and maybe 1 faust. Anyway thats just my opinion it would be a big ask if you did. or are you only doing armour?

It seems that British inf. have no serious inherent AT capability. The gammon bomb seems to be more a gift from God than a reliable tool for said troops (unpredictable and rarely available). Once the Allied armor and piat/bazookas are gone, Brit and American inf. are dogmeat.

In the interest of historical accuracy, could there not be some means of simulating the British paras abilty to scavenge discarded German PFs. Granted,i suspect that incorporating this element would be a challenge, but I offer this only as a suggestion. It just seems we need to help those guys when all other assigned resources have been exhausted.

1. Tiger with improved armor.
2. Bar Jam/break quality fix.
3. Accurate ammunition load for BAR upped to 240rds.
4. Firefly mg fix.
5. Daimler with vickers mg.

Can you make all vehicles do as they are told?

Can you make allied AT teams not fire on infantry unless attacked?

6. Bazooka/PIAT should not fire AT at infantry... Unless they are very low on rifle ammo. Primary weapon of zook/piat man should be Thompson? Grease gun? I know.. FG42, Stg44 !!! Mwhaha. No really, think about fixing the zook/piat.

7. ??????

(I suggest NO new weapons. Let\'s just improve what we have)

we pay enuff in points for them and still risk bad a.i driving,but broken main gun without battle damage,on flamehetzer is aweful.

Good point the hetzer flame gun. So now we have:

1. Tiger with improved armor.

6. Zook/Piat armor only fire.(Does this apply to the shreck as well?)

I think We would all have better games if all soldiers could scavenge any weapon on the battlefield that a dead soldier droped, including ammo. That one option would make this game alot better and make those close games that much intense.

Seven have you seen or used Dreaded 88s REAL PARA patch??? used with the Config editor from Zeppo?? It fixs most of the issues addressed and is used with the vets Mods that are used it adds the tiger fix and graphics, Also the Hummel in place of the JT the Wasp and several new carriers for the allies that are revelant to the time period... The Germans Mg teams are fixed and the SS supprt get more wheeled vehicles....

How about turning one of the FJ or SS reserves into a MG 34 team considering they are both the same. they could be great, kinda like a Bren team.........

Why dont try something to make prisioners less MFS.

It sucks when they run to ur hide elite teams and they throw out all the grenades, dinamite.... frown

Also Is a shitt when some of this prisioners begin the un-never-end hand to hand fighting with one of ur men.

For now this is just a fix patch no new weapons or vehcles this will be like 2.0b not addsing anything to the game just to fix discrepancies any modding I can do just take a look at the downloads page on my website. But with the help of a few others weve decided just to make one that fixes things for now. Great ideas and i will keep them in mind for my up and coming CC2: Pattons Assault mod. big grin
